DOCUMENTATION CENTRE

The centre

The Documentation Centre is a place for information and consultation, with the aim of becoming a centre of reference in matters of landscape in Catalonia.

Functions

The functions of the Documentation Centre are:

• To support the Landscape Observatory in the development of its activity.
• To support research on landscape undertaken by institutions or private organisations.
• To offer the maximum updated quality information to people interested in landscape.

Collection

The Documentation Centre collection contain monographs, periodical publications, unpublished documents, print media, audiovisual documents… It deals with landscape in the broadest sense and particularly the planning and management of landscape in Catalonia, in the rest of Spain and in the world. Consultation is free and open to everyone.

Services

The Documentation Centre of the Landscape Observatory offers the following services:

• Free public access to the Documentation Centre, on an appointment basis.
• Interlibrary lending: lending of documents to other libraries or Documentation Centres in Catalonia, Spain and Europe.
• Exchange of information and documentation with organisations, institutions and researchers.

Visits must be arranged sending an e-mail to centre.documentacio@catpaisatge.net or by calling (+34) 972 273 564.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 14:30 PM. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 16:00 PM to 18:00 PM
