The centre

The Documentation Center is a place for information and consultation, with the aim of becoming a reference centre in matters of landscape in Catalonia.

Functions

The functions of the Documentation Center are:

• To support the Landscape Observatory in the development of its activity.
• To support investigation on landscape undertaken by institutions or private organisations.
• To offer the maximum updated quality information to people interested in landscape.

Funds

The Documentation Center funds contain monographs, regular publications, unpublished documents, press, audiovisual documents… about landscape in the broadest sense and particularly the planning and management of landscape in Catalonia, in the rest of the Spain and in the world. Consultation is free and open to everyone.

Services

The Documentation Center of the Landscape Observatory offers the following services:

• Free public access to the Documentation Center, on an appointment basis.
• Interlibrary lending: lending of documents to other libraries or Documentation Centers in Catalonia, Spain and Europe.
• Exchange of information and documentation with bodies, institutions and researchers.

Visits must be arranged sending an e-mail to centre.documentacio@catpaisatge.net or calling at (+34) 972 273 564.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 14:30 PM. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 16:00 PM to 18:00 PM
