One of the main tasks of the Landscape Observatory is sensitisation on landscape. For this purpose, it works in coordination with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Territory and Sustainability of the Catalan Government in the monitoring of the project City, Territory, Landscape which offers innovative teaching materials for schoolchildren in compulsory secondary education. The project includes an educational website on landscape as a new section on the Observatory website.

Monthly issue of the newsletter Landscape Events, offering a selection of congresses, seminars, courses, presentations, conferences and exhibitions, among other activities around the world, with a special emphasis on events in Catalonia.
With the aim of publicising the wealth and variety of Catalonia's landscapes, since April 2010 the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia has been contributing to the new section "Landscape of the month" in the magazine Descobrir Catalunya.
